Android Oreo beta released for OnePlus 3/3T users

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T phone users are in for an adventurous ride . After a month of closed beta tests, OnePlus has finally made Android Oreo available to everyone who is part of OnePlus' OxygenOS Open Beta Program.

OnePlus has released OxygenOS Open Beta 25 for OnePlus 3 and Open Beta 16 for the OnePlus 3T, which brings Android Oreo and its features. With the release OnePlus becomes the first OEM to start testing Android Oreo publicly. The update is still in beta stage, so there will be some known issues as well related to fingerprint scanner, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity.

Now able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus through wallpapers 

Known issues:
Fingerprint actions may be slower than you are used to.
Shortcut to access Google Photos is unavailable
Some stability issues with NFC and bluetooth
Performance and compatibility of 3rd party apps will continue to be optimized.

As you can see the update brings most of Android Oreo features for the OnePlus 3 and 3T including Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, notification dots, revamped quick settings panel, smart auto-fill, smart text selection and more. It also includes September 2017 security patch.

To get Android Oreo on your OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, you'll have follow the same old drill. Those on OxygenOS beta program will get Oreo over-the-air, while others have to download the Oreo beta build, and flash it manually. You can refer here for the flash process. (OnePlus 3 | OnePlus 3T).
