Samsung is expanding its Galaxy J line up in India with the launch of Galaxy J7 Nxt (SM-J701FZDD). This is the second mid-range offering from the South Korean tech giant to the Indian market this month, the previous one being Galaxy On Max priced at Rs. 16,900.

The Galaxy J7 Nxt features 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by in-house 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 mobile processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be further increased via microSD card.

It gets 13MP f/1.9 rear camera with LED flash and 5MP f/2.2 front shooter also assisted by flash, to help the selfie camera capture better selfie in low-lighting conditions. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Nougat out of the box and for connectivity supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on. Unfortunately it does not have NFC support and fingerprint scanner.

It runs Android Nougat out of the box and sports textured back giving a good grip to hold the phone. Color options include Black and Gold.

The Galaxy J7 Nxt has been priced at Rs. 11,490, and is available for purchase from Samsung India eStore
